answering the buzzing brain

official monday prompt:

i found this link, which explains automatic writing. direct, subconscious writing that may (or may not) reach your pure self and bring out its truest expression. i bet you've got some freaky deaky in there; i'm curious about what comes out when you try this technique. go, surrealists, go!!

  1. Thanks for the link! I did this in a highschool English class. And I tried it again last night--27 minutes and 1,177 words later--I had a good chuckle. And yes there are some freaky deaky little things crawling within the corridors of my brain. I may or may not post a snippet of it on blog one day...

  2. Thanks for the link Laurie! I do this every so often, especially when my fingers are itchy, and ideas are swirling in my head. It helps me let out some of those ideas and make them tangible because they are on paper. It allows me to become sane again for the few moments that I have to lead my real life. Whenever I go back to my notebook, I always wonder where the stuff I wrote came from...
